Quorum Council docs

Last updated October 20, 2026

A council puts a question, a plan or a decision in front of AI models from several companies, to show you what you might be missing. Each answers alone, then they rank each other's answers without knowing who wrote them, then a Chief of Staff writes one report. You call it from Claude or ChatGPT, and the report comes back in 10 to 25 minutes.

How a council works

  1. Round 1. Each seat answers your brief on its own.
  2. Round 2. Each seat reads the others' answers with the names hidden and ranks them.
  3. Round 3. The Chief of Staff (Claude) reads everything and writes the report: what the council uncovered, the recommendation, where the seats split, the evidence, what is still uncertain and what to do next.

The seats today come from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Mistral, Alibaba (Qwen), DeepSeek and NVIDIA (Nemotron). Ask your app for the council lineup to see exact model versions. The report names any seat that dropped out.

Before you start

Connect in Claude

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Quorum Council and paste https://council.quorum.ceo/mcp
  3. Choose Connect. Enter your My councils email, then the 6-digit code we email you.
  4. Choose Allow. You're back in Claude, connected.

ChatGPT

Turn on developer mode (Settings, Apps, Advanced settings), then create an app with the same address and OAuth sign-in. Sign in and allow it the same way.

Other apps

Any app that takes a remote MCP server with OAuth works the same way. For apps without a Connect button, My councils can show you a private link to paste instead. Treat that link like a password.

Tools

list_council_typesRead only

Lists the council types open to you (business plan, fundraising, marketing, relationships, career advice and others) and what each is for. Free.

council_lineupRead only

Shows which AI companies sit on the council and the exact model version each runs. Free.

call_a_quorumStarts a council, uses your plan

Starts a council on your question, plan or decision. Uses one credit, one subscription council or part of your monthly allowance. Takes 10 to 25 minutes. Returns a run id and a link to the results page.

council_statusRead only

Shows which round a council is in and how many seats have finished.

get_council_reportRead only

Returns the finished report, plus a link to the formatted results page, which you can save as a PDF.

my_councilsRead only

Lists your recent councils with their status, and where you stand: credits, subscription or allowance.

delete_councilDeletes

Permanently deletes one of your councils: the brief, every seat's answer and the report. Your app asks you before it runs this.

Things to ask

Call a quorum on whether we should raise prices 20% for new clients or add a premium tier.

What kinds of council can I call?

Who's on the council right now?

How's my council doing?

Show me the report from my last council.

Delete the council about the premium tier.

Your app drafts the brief from what you told it and shows it to you before it starts. Leave out which option you lean toward, so the council works blind.

Pricing

Buy and manage your plan in My councils. Payments go through Stripe.

Your reports

Every report stays in My councils until you delete it, or for as long as you choose there. Each has a results page you can open in any browser and save as a PDF. Your councils are encrypted in our database and Justin's admin page doesn't open them unless you share one. See the privacy policy.

Delete a report

In My councils, choose Delete next to the council. Or ask your app to delete it. Either way the brief, the seats' answers and the report are gone for good. A council that's still running can be deleted once it finishes.

Disconnect

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Quorum Council and remove it (in ChatGPT, delete the app). Your councils stay in My councils. To have us cut off every connected app on our side as well, or to close your account, email council@quorum.ceo.

Support

Email council@quorum.ceo. Justin reads every message.
